Once upon a time I was engineer. Now I am engineer of my taxi.

Mahmoud is an irreverent & humorous one-woman show about an aging Iranian engineer/taxi driver, a Spanish perfume salesman, and a young Iranian-Canadian girl, all trying to get by the day-to-day grind in a busy metropolitan city.

Their stories come together over the course of an hour, and through their connections with the audience, themselves and each other, they explore themes of displacement, immigration, and home.
